This 3rd edition of La Triennale en Métiers d’Art is dedicated to fibre and to the artists who work in fibre/textile.
It is first presented at the Centre d’Art in La Sarre QC from June 19th to August 31, 2021.
The exhibition then travels to Espace Pierre Debain, the City of Gatineau’s gallery dedicated to the crafts from September 11th to October 13th; and then travels to Centre Materia in Quebec City from November 4th to November 28th, 2021. All three exhibition centres are dedicated to the professional presentation of the crafts. This triennale is organized by the Centre d’Art in La Sarre, under the superb direction of Veronique Trudel.
Among the artists selected to be part of this crafts exhibition, are four artists from the Outaouais :Thoma Ewen (textile), Paula Murray (céramique), Béla Simó (metal), and Éric Tardif (wood).
